The Marc Jacobs bag offer in 2026: where things stand
The styles on the US site are split into named families, not one wall of leather. 312 styles in all are filed under the navigation headings The Tote Bag, The Snapshot, The Scene, Crossbody Bags, Mini Bags, Shoulder Bags and Totes. The brand went from LVMH to WHP Global and G-III Apparel Group on 1 https://jacobsbag.org/ September 2026, a change of ownership that kept Marc Jacobs as Founder and Creative Director. Every price on the site carries the “SALE PRICE,” label, full-price stock included, so read a bag as truly reduced only when a “REGULAR PRICE” shows beside it. Figures here are US dollars on marcjacobs.com in the US as of September 2026, and they differ by country and change without notice. Plenty of people search “marc jacob,” but the label is Marc Jacobs, plural.
The Tote Bag
The line launched in 2019, drawn from archival designs, and as the flagship family it holds 105 styles. “No more Birkins, only Tote Bags” is the framing line the brand attributes to Jacobs, and it makes the positioning plain. Rounded top handles and the name in oversized block letters ride on a wide rectangle, debossed on leather and closed by a top zip. The Canvas Medium measures 13in by 6in by 11in in cotton canvas, with one interior zip pocket and two slip pockets. The Canvas Large does not include the removable adjustable webbing strap that Crossbody, Small and Medium carry, which is where buyers slip up. Prices go about $150, $178, $198 and $228 for canvas by size, then jacquard at about $325 and $350, and full-grain leather at about $398, $498 and $598. Students and commuters land here first, because it is the cheapest route to a recognizable marc jacobs handbag.
The Snapshot
With thirty styles here, this is the bag most people picture when they hear the name. Shaped after a camera bag, it was dreamt up in a Parisian studio, the brand says, and debuted on the runway. At 7in by 2in by 4in it is small and boxy, showing tricolor colorblocking and the signature double-J hardware. Saffiano leather, a faille lining, a dual top zipper rather than a flap and a removable webbing strap with a 27in drop are the specification. Core styles run about $325 to $328, including the Snapshot DTM and the Colorblock Chain Snapshot, while the Vintage Floral version and Snapshot E/W Shoulder Bag sit near $358. It works for someone carrying a phone, cards and a lipstick who wants the bag noticed.
The Scene
Holding 70 styles, The Scene is the newest family to win its own place in the navigation. What it holds is a group rather than a shape: Small, Medium and Large Shoulder Bags, two Buckets, a Convertible Mini, a Chain Mini and a Wallet on Chain. Leather, crinkle leather, suede and denim leave this line the widest material spread of any here. It is carried on the shoulder, or on a slim metal chain for the chain versions, so these are not top-handle bags. At $198 for the Scene Convertible Mini Bag and $228 for the Scene Wallet on Chain, the pricing opens. Past the Scene Convertible Mini Bag and the Scene Wallet on Chain, prices reach $298 for the Scene Small Shoulder Bag and $358 for the Scene Small Bucket, with a ceiling near $698 for the Scene Large Shoulder Bag. Softer and far less logo-forward than the Tote is the draw for the buyer this suits.
The Sack Bag
What the brand calls a slouchy throw-over-your-shoulder silhouette in premium leather, The Sack Bag arrived on the 2022 runway. Rather than holding a rectangle, it slumps against the body. The Belted Sack Bag is the reference model in full-grain leather, with a magnetic closure, an adjustable belted shoulder strap, an internal zip pocket, cotton twill lining and a 12in handle drop. From The Micro Crossbody Sack Bag near $198, the run climbs past the Small Belted Sack Bag around $298 and reaches $498. Seasonally, bow-detailed denim and nylon appear at roughly $258 and $358, alongside leopard nylon and canvas cargo versions near $398. A magnet opens quicker than a zip but is less secure, better for people who hate hardware fuss than for crowded transit.
The Dual Bag
Famous story, thin shelf: The Dual Bag has the most public origin story here and the thinnest current shelf presence. It first showed on the Fall ’23 runway, and the brand says it first drew attention at the 2024 Met Gala after-party, when Dua Lipa paired it with her look. The Spring 2025 campaign with Emily Ratajkowski was built around it, and it returned in Summer 2025 led by Doja Cat. As of 29 September 2026 it appears mainly in the MARCDOWN sale section rather than the main assortment. Both prices display in this rare case, with The Large Dual Bag listed around $297 against a regular price of about $495, which is unusual. Anyone who liked the campaign imagery and will buy from what remains rather than a full color run is who it suits.
The structured leather totes: Cristina, Dakota, Babe and Pop J Marc
Separate from The Tote Bag, the site runs a Totes category of 47 structured styles and a Shoulder Bags category of 80. Rather than the soft canvas carryalls, these are the leather bags that hold their shape. The Grommet Charm Cristina Tote, around $658, is filed under Shoulder Bags because it gets carried that way, while The Cristina Tote sits near $398. Nothing in the Totes category costs more than The Dakota Tote at about $798. Babe works three points from the Babe Mini Vanity Bag near $178 up through the Babe Mini Top Handle at roughly $298 and on to the Babe City Tote around $598. For a working week, the marc jacobs bags here are the Pop J Marc Work Tote at about $398 and, near $298, a Small Work Tote.
Heaven by Marc Jacobs
The youth-facing sub-label launched in September 2020 with Ava Nirui art-directing from the start. The brand describes it as a gateway into the sprawling and enigmatic omniverse of Marc Jacobs subversion. Bags run between roughly $150 and $250 and tees from around $65, across 153 products in all. The cheapest way into a marc jacobs bag outside the canvas Tote is so Heaven. Among current stock is a David Rappeneau Shoulder Bag near $175, an artist name carried on the product itself. With no successor named after Nirui’s exit, reported in January 2026, Heaven’s creative direction now is not brand-confirmed.
The lines at a glance
Shape, material and the US price band shown on 29 September 2026 are set against each current family in the table. Each band is a range across sizes and fabrications, not one price for one bag. The top belongs to leather and the largest Scene styles, and the bottom to canvas and Heaven. Material matters to price more than size does: the same medium Tote is about $198 in canvas and $498 in leather. In the Dual Bag row the figure is a markdown, not a standing price. All figures are US dollars on marcjacobs.com, vary by country and currency, and change without notice.

The lines the US site no longer carries, and people keep searching
Search brings up the same four names constantly, and all four end in disappointment on the US site. Search for the J Marc shoulder bag or saddle bag and you get jewelry, sunglasses, shoes, ready-to-wear and the Pop J Marc Work Tote instead, since neither is currently sold. Nor is The St. Marc in the current assortment, and a search returns only a handful of Canal St apparel items. The Duffle is missing too, with no duffle bag in the results for that term. The fourth ghost is a Monogram tote, since the current canvas totes are plain cotton canvas with block-letter branding. Rather than current marc jacobs bag lines, all four are archive names, so be skeptical of sellers offering them as new stock. Only items bought from an authorized vendor, with proof of purchase, fall under the one-year manufacturing-defect warranty.
